I love the palette of this outfit. Her hair contrasts sharply with the pale green of her shredded dress, but the combination isn't jarring-- maybe because I've seen it somewhere before in nature (a strawberry)?
The grey on grey on grey of the slouchy sweater / tights / shoes combo adds a ghostly, soft touch that is also futuristic in the way it plays with monotones.

On May 1st, a new law took effect in Kanagawa Prefecture which banned cyclists from engaging in dangerous or distracting activities while riding a bike, such as using a cellphone or listening to music via headphones. Similar laws exist in other prefectures, such as Osaka, but this past Monday was the first time anyone was arrested or fined for being in violation of the law-- when a 15 year old high school girl was stopped for texting while biking.
"A police officer using a megaphone ordered the schoolgirl four times to stop looking at her phone as she rode, but she ignored him, so he stopped her and gave the teen a ticket, police said.
The girl, who faces a fine of up to 50,000 yen (about $618), admitted to the charges. 'I thought I’d be all right if I was only riding a bicycle,' she told the police."

Several songs managed to hang on from last week, albeit in the bottom half. 「花唄」 by Greeeen, AAA's 「No Cry no More」, 「Flags」 by T.M. Revolution and 「Replay」 by SHINee all manage to stick around for a second week on the countdown. (I'll try to have some of these guys up for download later in the week.)
New stuff by Hilcrhyme, Garnet Crow, and Hello Project's only solo artist at the moment, Mano Erina, rounded out the middle of the countdown.
L'Arc en Ciel's new song 「Good Luck My Way」 debuts at #4, reiterating that they still have "it", whatever "it" is-- I've certainly never been able to figure "it" out or I would be laying on a beach somewhere right now, not writing this blog.
Debuting at #3 is a group I've never heard of before: no3b. I'm not even sure how you pronounce their name. They look sort of like a Japanese cross between the bands Ratt and Heart, but with more smoke.
Edit: Holy crap, it's members of AKB48. The music video is so dark and smokey, I thought they were an 80's band.
Finally, the female otaku and erstwhile tweens take the reins this week, propelling Hey!Say!Jump to the top spot with their new single 「OVER」.
